Easy to Use

The jar sealer works with any FoodSaver vacuum sealing system (machine not included). Simply connect one end of the jar sealer to the machine’s accessory port and the white, round-shaped end to the top of a lidded Mason jar, so that it fits securely over the screwed-on lid. With the push of a button, the system quickly extracts all the air from inside the jar, pulling it out through the flexible tubing to form an air-tight seal.

The top forms a tight seal on mason jars while the tubing removes air from the jar with the help of a FoodSaver machine. The jar sealer works equally as well in packaging liquid foods, such as jams or chocolate sauces, as it does for dry goods, such as brown sugar or spices. While vacuum packaging is not a substitute for traditional canning methods, it does keep food fresh three to five times longer than keeping it in a plastic food storage container in the refrigerator. These polystyrene jar foam liner seals coated with torque-activated adhesive
require no tools and no heat induction equipment.

For proper application consider the following recommendations:

● Make sure your pressure sensitive liner size matches the jar opening.
These 70 mm (2.75 inches) seals are to be used with regular mouth jars
that measure 2 3⁄8 in (60 mm) inner and 2 3⁄4 in (70 mm) outer diameter neck size.

● Completely clean the jar top with clean cloth and alcohol to clear of liquid
and/or solids. Center jar seal on top of you plastic or glass jar, and apply. The white
side of the seal shall be facing down, the side with red letters shall be facing up.

● Screw metal or plastic cap on jar. Make sure the liner and cap are tightly secured
on the container.

● Once the cap is applied, it should not be removed for at least 24 hours
to ensure proper adhesion. Although depending on your application, the adhesion
process might take significantly less time.

● Seals can be used with glass and plastic jars and with lined or unlined caps.
These pressure sensitive liners are best for use with powder or dry products.

● Avoid overfilling your containers!

● Once seal is removed, it cannot be reapplied.
