EC Fan What is EC technology?
EC stands for Electronically Commutated, and it combines AC and DC voltages bringing the best of both worlds; the motor runs on a DC voltage, but with a normal AC supply.
EC motors have several benefits. Because EC motors have no brushes, they do not spark or have a short life due to brushes. Other advantages include the fact that they do not waste power because the electronics control the stator; they provide better performance and controllability, and they run cooler than induction motors; In terms of size, small motors can achieve the same output as traditional DC or AC motors.
Power distribution is much cleaner with an EC motor. Brushless DC motors depend on a separate DC power supply. And an AC motor’s power supply usually adds extra cost and complexity. EC motors can connect directly to AC main power supply with their integrated electronics. They do not completely depend on voltage or frequency; hence, small changes in voltage do not affect motor output.

The EC fan is more windy than the AC fan, more energy efficient, and can work in the 70V – 270V voltage range, such as work under on 110V, 120V, 220V, 240V ,the fan speed are the same.

This rugged NEMA box is molded from durable and UV resistant fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) with a UL94-5V flame rating. It features a stainless steel continuous door hinge and stainless steel latches with provision for padlocks. The door is fully gasketed making this enclosure suitable for use indoors or outdoors.

Power
This model features a 2.5mm thick finished aluminum plate with two pre-wired 120VAC surge-protected power outlets. A terminal strip and ground lug are provided for simplified wiring on-site. Heater
This model also features a thermostat controlled 200W heating system. The heater turns on when the internal temperature reaches 43°F (6°C) and turns off when it rises to 59°F (15°C). The heater is situated below the mounting plate and wired internally so it does not interfere with user installed equipment or require the use of the AC outlets.

Cooling Fan Ventillation
This model also features dual 4″ vents and a thermostat controlled cooling fan. The low noise, high airflow fan helps maintain lower internal temperatures. The fan turns on when the internal temperature reaches 100°F (38°C) and turns off when it drops to 79°F (26°C). The fan is wired internally so it does not require the use of the AC outlets. Rain shrouds on the front door keep rain water from entering the enclosure and the internal aluminum mesh filters are removable for cleaning.

Mounting

This rugged JIC style NEMA box is molded from durable UV stable and corrosion resistant fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) with a UL94-5V flame rating. The FRP material is dent-proof, non-conductive and RF transparent for compatibility with wireless equipment. It can be easily drilled and modified by the installer as needed. It features a gasketed door with stainless steel continuous hinge and stainless steel quick release latches with padlock hasps. The generous size of this enclosure and the extended lid accommodate a wide range of equipment.

Cable Glands
The enclosure features two unique PG-16 cable glands with a closed inner seal. When required for use, simply punch a hole through the inner membrane, run your cables and tighten for a water-tight seal.

Product Description

The heavy duty axial fan kit is designed for custom projects and as a replacement fan. The fan runs on 100 to 125V AC and contains everything needed to easily mount the fan and power it through a wall outlet. Includes a 4 foot power cord that can be easily attached to the fan’s metal terminals and allows it to be powered through a wall outlet. The plug cord can also be cut and be converted into lead wires to be connected to a wired AC power source. Also includes two 120 millimeter metal fan guards and a mounting screw set. AC Infinity fans are certified by CE, UL, TUV, and RoHS.

Heavy Duty Construction

The fan’s housing is constructed of die-cast aluminum painted black and able to perform well in harsh environments and withstand shocks. Its impeller and blades are molded with thermoplastic and meets UL 94 standards for resistance to flammability. Impedance protected motors contains windings that have a higher resistance to heat during a rotor lock. Containing long life dual ball bearings, the fans can be run continuously for 67,000 hours and be mounted in any direction.
