This led Michael to design the E-Z Dishwasher Bracket. The bracket eliminates many of the problems associated with anchoring dishwashers and is great for installation either before or after counter top installation. This undercounter mounting bracket for dishwashers is for solid surfaces like granite. Works with all standard size dishwashers. Can also be used on all stainless and plastic tall tub platforms.

The 24″ E-Z Bracket attaches to the cabinet with wood screws as well as to the counter top with impact absorbing adhesive caulk or silicone. It is made to accommodate virtually any dishwasher on the market and may be installed prior to or after counter top installation. There is no need for the dishwasher to be on site due to the multiple attachment locations. Counter top installers need only install the bracket across the top of the dishwasher bay, flush tabs to face of cabinet and install screws provided at each end.

What size are they? : about 3.1 inches long and just about 1 inch wide
This package includes 2 galvanized steel dishwasher mounting brackets (will never rust) in a convenient plastic storage pouch.
The brackets are manufactured in a high-quality metal fabrication facility

Installation instructions:

1. Don’t get shocked, unplug your dishwasher before starting the project
2. Remove sound dampening pad. Check to see if there is enough slack from your water lines and power chords to pull the dishwasher out about a foot. If not, please turn off water line and release your power chord from where its plugged in.
3. Open the dishwasher and discard any existing brackets (if there are any)
4. With the door open, gently pull the dishwasher about 6-12 inches from your cabinetry
5. If old brackets are in place, use a pair of pliers to remove them
6. Remove new dishwasher mounting brackets from the pouch and insert into the same slots as previous brackets.
7. Once brackets are installed, using the same pliers to bend the back of the bracket to ensure that the bracket cannot release itself from the slow.
8. Once both brackets are installed, gently slide the dishwasher back into the cabinet (readjusting the leveling legs, if necessary).
9. Install 2, ½ inch screws through one of the three screw holes to secure the dishwasher in place.
